Abmar is one of my favorite guys to watch compete because of his very aggressive guard. Abmar has always been a very tough competitor with over 40 titles in Jiu Jitsu. However, it wasn’t until the Pan Ams in 2010 that he became mainstream when he shocked the BJJ world by defeatinge Kron Gracie 11-0 and then going on to sub another high profile competitor in Lucas Leite before losing in the final.

Trans was the 2010 Purplebelt World Champion and won the Worlds, Pan Am, Europeans and Brazilian nationals last year at brown without losing a single match. The only match he lost last year was to Fabricio Verdum at ADCC. He will be making his blackbelt debut at the Europeans.
